The Parable of the Wedding Banquet

1Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2″The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
4″Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

5″But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8″Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11″But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12′Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless.

13″Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14″For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

We have all been invited. God chose us all from the beginning to be born into this world, to have a chance to be re-born into the Kingdom of heaven. Some accept, some ignore and some refuse. Some accept but stay worldly and therefore unacceptable.

The Parable of the Great Banquet

15When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.”
16Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. 17At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’

18″But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.’

19″Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.’

20″Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’

21″The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’

22″ ‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’

23″Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. 24I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.’ “

Im too busy. This other thing is too important right now. Maybe later.

Invitations have been going out for thousands of years. No one is NOT invited. Many just simply choose not to.

I am inviting you now, into the Kingdom of God, He calls to you, he beckons you. Come.

Do you hear?

Father I pray, that all that read this hear Your call? Whatever it takes? Give them what is needed to see and understand. None come but by Your doing. Holy Spirit move on and in their lives and bring about the Will of the Father, I stand on their behalf and claim their blood bought rights to salvation. I come against every mind blinding spirit of the world. I come against every hindrance. In Jesus name I lay waste every mountain, and call every valley to rise. I speak to the paths that they be made straight. Your Will be done for each and every one of them. I thank you Lord that your Will will prevail as I pray in your Will for your beloved children, as your servant on your behalf. I operate in the power and authority passed to me by Christ. I thank you that all has been done. I stand in the knowledge of Your great power, for You are the Most High God and all knees bow to You and You alone. Amen !

Chosen

This morning the word “chosen” came to me.

I have been chosen. We are chosen.

We think it is us that chooses but that I believe is wrong. We are chosen.

18″If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

To be chosen, is to be approved of. By whom you are chosen makes all the more difference.

We seek approval from all sorts of people during our life, so many of decisions we make are based on gaining their approval.

I had a desire for approval, I had so little growing up as I was raised in a critical household, and married a critical person. It seemed like the world has one message for me and that is you suck – as a person and whatever role you find yourself in – disapproval after disapproval, failure after failure.

I sometimes feel so closed to being dead inside, like there is nothing left in me anymore, why bother when all the world will say I suck.

But here I find myself chosen, by someone greater than anyone I could find in the world.

God chose me, as a child, He saw me and approved of me…

Jeremiah 1:4-6 (Amplified Bible)

4Then the word of the Lord came to me [Jeremiah], saying,
5Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.(A)

… He called me, drew me to Himself, put that aching desire in my heart that could ONLY be answered by Him.

What an honour! What value!

God the Creator, chose me, appointed me to be born and to come to Him and be His.

He calls to us He draws us

Which brings me to another side to this, our job is not to draw, or to convince or to call its His. Just preach the good news you have in YOUR heart….it should be bubbling forth like an underground spring.

Who finds a treasure and is quiet about it. Who finds something good and does not want to tell everyone they meet about this good thing they have found.

What Is Man ?!?!

Some days ya just gotta wonder about God’s infatuation with His people.

No matter who you are or are not. No matter what you have or havent done. He loves YOU!

He gave up all He was and became like us to save our sorry souls, just becasue He loves us.

You can understand the question “What is man that YOU are mindful of him?” What is it God that holds Your attention so?

2Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

My Soul Cries To Thee

Its 12.30am in the morning, again I am awake and I was lead to this scripture and song. My soul is so sympathetic to both David’s words in the Psalm and Reuban Morgan’s in the Lyrics of Heaven.

Cut Ties, Cut Losses, and Position Yourself for the Wind of the FUTURE! A Call to Watch and Blow!

I heard the Spirit of God say, “Some of you have had the fight knocked out of you. The Spirit of God is bringing a new wind of strength to cause a new fight to rise up in you. The fight has been knocked out of you because you stayed in an atmosphere too long.” Anne Tate began to prophesy: “At this time I am breaking old associations and configurations. My lines are greater than any ley line the enemy could lay.” I then heard the Lord say: “Rise up! Let My atmosphere rise up around you and cut the ties necessary, so that I can cause you to fight again and be set into a changing wind. I am breaking down the old structure you’ve been protecting. It is you that has been protecting an old structure saying, ‘Remake what I’m comfortable in.’ I’m breaking that down.

“Catch the changing wind of My Spirit, for you will land in a new place, in a new dimension of My Spirit. You will say, ‘I see a new land and I’m leaving the winds from the wilderness’. You had expectations in some relationships that you’re still trying to work out. I’ve been contending to cut you loose from those relationships. I am contending over you so that you rise up above the inordinate structure of the enemy that has been placed around you. Get ready to rise up, for I am contending and My sword is the strongest. Raise your sails and catch the wind. You have been in a dry and desolate land. But even though water has not been there for you to move forward, I will send the water if you will raise the sail.

“This is a week to know My presence. This is a time to know My ark and to know what ark you are to enter to journey into your future. I am causing My presence to flood in the land. Raise your sail and watch the glory begin to take you to a new place. Don’t hesitate. Hesitation is set as a snare to My movement for your life. Let your faith push you and catapult you. When you hear the wind of truth being spoken into a situation, move immediately. You don’t want to miss the boat. You don’t want to miss your proper alignment. Don’t hesitate. Delay is set as a trap. The word is critical in this hour. The intensity that is behind the word is pushing you forward at speeds and levels that we know not of, so don’t hesitate and don’t fall for the trap.

“Within the sands of your desert, there is a highway. But in the sands of your desert you have grown accustomed to the atmosphere and the “sherakah” wind that has been around you. In the sands of your desert, create a new atmosphere and I will cause that highway that is down deep to rise up. For there are ways of escape for My people in this next season. There are ways of escape that are forming, but you must create the wind that causes the highway to rise in front of you. I am laying the road. I am laying a road. Watch it form now. Go with Me on this new road, for you are headed into a place that you have not been. You must bring forth the wind and create the road so that you can end up where I have called you to be – new businesses, new alignments, new assignments.

“I’m having you to return to some business associates that you separated from and chose to walk a different direction from in this past season. Even now you will go back and reform a new way to venture forward. New ventures are on the horizon for My people. You must now grab hold and get on a highway that sets you ahead of the curve. You will go back and re-form a plan with them like Paul went back and got John Mark. These relationships will no longer be the same, but will be brought under a new covenant plan. They were once in an old structure, but now will be brought into a new structure. If those relationships are unwilling to come into a new structure, move on down the road for there are new relationships that will create this new venture. I will give some opportunities that did not manifest in the past season and now they will have an opportunity for a manifestation in this season. The ventures of My people now will take a shift in their formation. Realign and then align again so that those ventures might manifest properly!”

Depart From Me…

Its been a long hard life, you’ve done well are your last thoughts as your breath leaves your body.

Your eyes close forever on the world you once knew and open again to a new place beyond your wildest dreams or expectations.

A few scenarios are now going to play out…

“Wow” (the understatement of eternity) will be your first thought. “Oh crap, those annoying christian people were right all long, there is indeed life after death…eternity” (if you didn’t believe on earth you do now).

or

“Wow, this is great its everything I thought and believed heaven was”.

Both types of people will progress to the next stage…the Throne Room. There they will stand before God, Jesus the room filled with angels and saints. The feeling will beyond euphoric, you will be glad you no longer have your earthly body, because the sensations you are experiencing right now, it would not have handled. They are all positive of course until its your turn to be judged.

The love, the peace, the joy, the overwhelming feeling of goodness as there is absolutely no evil present, light and unburdened by a physical self and its aches and pains.

You will hear one of two statements -

“Enter in good and faithful servant”.

or

“Depart from me, I never knew you”.

Which one would you want to hear?

I mean you are here now, its no longer faith it is now knowledge. God, Jesus, the angels, the bible all true. No more questions, doubts etc, it is real, it is now your reality. It is now your reality for eternity, forever, infinite time, no exiting from this point.

As a christian you will be thinking -

“Sweet, Im in”.

As a non- christian you will be thinking again

“Crap, oh double crap” another understatement of eternity.

This is now really the point I was working toward, so many people who thought they would be “sweet” are far from it.

Many professing christians are going to hear the words “depart from me I never knew you”.

Asking Jesus into your life, saying that one little prayer of salvation is not a “get of hell free card”.

Saying “I believe in Jesus” is not enough. Satan believes in Jesus, his faith is far above yours and he will not be entering heaven.

I believe there is one way and one way only into heaven.

It begins with faith, I believe in God, Jesus, eternity etc.
Followed by humility I suck, I am a sinner, I need forgiveness, my wrongs made right again.

This will lead you to ask for forgiveness, you will then ask for guidance because you now realize you cant do this life thing by yourself. You will then ask Jesus to come into your life and be an integral part of it, you will develop a desire to have Him live through you, to turn you around to a point where you are more Him than you are or ever were you.

This does not happen in one moment, it begins with one moment but it is the first step of a journey for the rest of your days on earth. You will do this over and over and over. The day you stop doing this you stop progressing.

Every single day, several times a day you will be required to really make Jesus the Lord of your life, you will be required to bow your knee to only one of two kingdoms. God’s or Satan’s.

Life will require choices from you God will urge you to choose to go His way, Satan will oppose you with – Fear, Doubt, Unbelief, Selfishness, Rebellion, Lust, etc and urge you to go your way (subtly his way).

Satan needs puppet slaves to destroy and advance his kingdom in exchange for death eternally and whatever that means.
God requires submitted faithful servants to advance His in exchange for life eternally and whatever that means.

There will be days you choose wrongly, thats ok, repent and try again. It is your heart and desire that God wants, not the act itself. That is why religious works wont cut it. You can give squillions to the Church’s cause, feeding the poor etc. Wont matter diddly squat to God unless the right motivation was there. You can never miss a day of church and pray 12 hours a day, read the bible backwards and forwards every year, it wont matter unless it was your heart to be closer to Him, to know Him better, to serve Him better.

Christianity is relationship.

How are you with your best friends? Do you need convincing to spend time talking, visiting with them? Seeing them happy? Doing things together? No different with God. Otherwise you are just professing your love, but it is not backed up by action motivated by your heart/desire.

Another thing occurred to me. It is written in the bible “if you have it here on earth, you have had it you have had your reward on earth and you will not experience it, receive it in heaven” that is a sobering thought. I was feeling sorry for myself because it seems so much doesnt work out for me like I want it to, and thats when that thought came to me.

Keep an eternity focus, dont trade then for now. Losing more now, going without more now is like sowing into an Eternal Superannuation plan. Giving at your church and expecting it come back with interest is not selfless giving. Give with a heart to give and bless just to please God, with the faith that He will supply everything you need, you will not go without.

Run from riches, run from human praise and notoriety as if it is a plan to rob from you an eternal blessing. Receive it with grace, gratefulness and thanksgiving to God, but find a way to get rid of it again.

Follow God’s lead, He only wants 10% for Himself the rest He gives to you, so keep 10% and give the rest away to those YOU love. Your money, your time, your possessions. Hold everything loosely. Let know yearning lead rule your life. If you have a need bring it to you loving Father, ask and it will be given according to His will, but if you dont receive what you ask for settle it that it is His will and it is perfect.

How do you react when you dont get what you wanted?

This is a gage as to whether God is your highest priority or the thing you seek. Be content with and without, or desire to be. This way you will live a life of much more peace and contentedness, you will enjoy what you have in your hand right at the moment and not be always chasing the illusive “pot of gold” at the foot of every rainbow.

Position Vacant – Warrior Wanted

A submitted man unto God and his role in any relationship is as a spiritual warrior/protector, physical protector and provider and leader. Where he goes his family or group will follow.

Therefore it is imperative that we choose wisely our male counterparts.

Why do us as women let our hearts lead the way, we would do better to approach our relationships with clear headed thinking as if we were considering a job application.

This man I will have to (if we are going to do it God’s way)

1. Submit to for the rest of my life…his decisions, his beliefs, his personality and all the quirks that go with it.

2. Not withhold sex from just coz Im angry.

3. Respect him

4. Be faithful to.

So it would be well worth you while to consider this seriously and deeply. When contemplating a life long union, known as marriage.

I personally believe marriage is on all levels – emotional, spiritual and physical.

In marriage two have become one

Which is why it is impossible to divorce (unless by God’s hand). You are not one person but have knitted/joined to another soul/body/spirit to divide is to destroy the union but also you.

Marriage cannot be approached with the attitude “oh well if it does not work out, we will just divorce”. This puts even more emphasis in choosing your life partner wisely, thats it there is no do-over unless he dies or cheats on you.

However, no marriage joined by God would ever disintegrate. The problem comes when we do what we want, because we want it.

Submit yourself to God first and His will for you, and then all these things will be added to you. He will give them to you, they will be perfect and right because HE chose.

Ask God for your partner, if you are single right now.

If you are married like me and you are just beginning to learn all this, and think like me “I wish I had known this before I married, I wish I had the chance to let God choose” Remember, for you things may look impossible, but with God all things are possible, he may have a plan to deliver you or restore your marriage. So ask for His intervention in your life.

First admit where you have gone wrong, ask Him to show you first how wrong you are in a relationship, let Him first restore you or you will go on to ruin anything else He brings to you. Then also pray for your husband, and for God to move in his life.

Believe God’s will for you is good, that He wants you to have life to the fullest He intended you to have.

Satan steals, Gods gives. Dont get that wrong.

Dont make the mistake of letting a relationship become your god/idol, obsessing over it day and night. Dont make your life’s purpose finding a mate, trust in God’s timing and plan to bring to you at a right time. I can almost say, until you dont want it/need it you wont have it, because it means more to you than God. I can say it is better not to have what you want and have God pleased with you, that to have Him displeased and you have whatever you want.

Not my will but Yours God !! Submit, give your will over to Him, your desires over to Him. This is how we truly make Him Lord of our lives. If we cant do that, then they are just idle words we utter in church with no substance at all.

Be prepared to lose everything, hold everything lightly, if not it is an idol and will become your God and affect your decisions, and keep you in a place of no authority.

Submit yourself to God, and then resist the devil and he will flee. It goes together, the devil will not flee from an un-submitted person.

When you finally find yourself with the man of your dreams, you will have no problem submitting and following his lead, you will have had lots of practice first with God.

We are in a time called “Dire Straits”. Do not get discouraged. Allow the Lord to work in you a work of “Letting GO”. To get through a narrow place, we must “take off”, go to the other side, and then “put on” again. We are now in a three year transition phase in Christian history. We all go through transitions in our lives. A woman in labor calls the transition phase “the pain phase of change”. Leaving behind the old can be painful, and at times we have to face pain to advance. However, in every process we must remember that the best is yet ahead and that the process of transition we are in will produce a new beginning. Transition is where your narrow place is widening or enlarging so the new can advance through. Let go and let God! Go through the narrow place. I felt to remind you of the following word:

“A new corridor is forming and I will narrow your way. You must narrow your desires. I am sanctifying desires and narrowing the corridor through which you will walk. You are entering into new alignments and assignments, and coming into a place that will bring you forth into a realm you have not known. You will come from a dark place into light, but the corridor that you have been in is beginning to narrow to push you through into the new.

“This is the day of ‘My Gideon’s call.’ There is a clarion, Gideon call being released into the earth. It is urgent for My Gideon call to be heard. There is a call coming now into the earth realm to separate the desires of My people. My people’s desires have been muddled with their own desires. In the next 3 months, I will begin to separate the desires of My people so that they can follow Me. You started out with My desire to get to a new place, but your desires from the past season are coming up and you are being muddled in the call I am extending to you. You must separate your desires, beginning now, so that I draw you out and into that place.

“The teams and troops that I have will be narrowed down, for this will be a narrowing time. The corridor is narrowing in the midst of this sound. Listen! Listen carefully, for this clarion call is now being extended and it will look like the days of Gideon. The anointing I will release will be a Gideon anointing that will overtake the Midianites that have robbed in the past seven years and stolen at the time of harvest.

“Know that there is a great separation that must take place to overthrow the enemy ahead who has been coming in and taking away at an opportune time. I must rearrange My people’s call so that their opportunity will be seen in a different way. Hear, today, the clarion call and know that it is a Gideon time upon My people. Heed the call and rise up today and enter in through the corridor that is a narrow way. Many things will fall to the left and to the right and even your body will change to get you through these next three months so that you break into that place that I have for you.”

My Greatest Revelation To Date

I have just posted a video and lyrics that express my feelings toward Jesus and my discovery that He is the one I have searched for my whole life.

I met him as a very small child, I would talk to Him incessantly on my bed a night, it was like a normal thing to me. I distinctly remember the time I decided that it was not real and I was imagining the whole thing, and I stopped

He never gave up, He has called me and called me all my life. I remember back to songs that stood out that were all about Him, and I to this day know them word for word like they were imprinted in my heart.

I look back to the times He was close, at the time I didnt know it was Him but He has showed me how He was with me in the everyday things, guiding my life and path to Him all the time calling to my heart to come to Him like a long lost lover.

That is what He is my long lost lover, my relationships were purely based on my glimpses of Him in them. My fantasys have all had the leading man as a Christlike Hero that like in some fairytale will come and sweep me away. Fairytales are true!!!

I have finally seen it, I have had Him in my life for over 14 years now, but He was of lesser consequence to me. I was always chasing something to satisfy the needs I had, yet all the while He was waiting patiently for me to find Him fully and give myself to Him fully.

It is no easy process, but I can finally say with complete confidence -

“I am His and He is mine He is my beloved”.

To complete this perfect discovery is, I need to have people in my life that are vessels of Him. So He can love me through them, as I am prepared to let Him love them through me.

This is my new mission – to find my soulmate…who knows it could even turn out to be my husband :p
